Santaquin Orchard Days 2008 is right around the corner.

August 4,2007, C-day. After months of preparation, scheduling, and work the day had arrived!
The morning began early to have everything ready to begin the breakfast at the conclusion of the flag ceremony. Gladly, 200 were served with the help of Wade and Shaun (our favorite cooks borrowed from One Man Band.) With everyone fed, the Car Show polish and shine was on! Phil Harold joined us as our announcer, playing some great tunes, hearing success stories from small patients who know first hand about the work of Primary Children’s and having drawings all day.
This year Neil Craig of Central Utah Sheet Metal was our platinum sponsor, but, after putting out the word that this year’s proceeds would be donated to Primary Children’s Medical Center, we had many others step up to help make this a great show.
At 2:30, awards were given. We have some beautiful cars and bikes in Santaquin. Bryan Messick’s 1940 Chev Delivery, Shayne Ahlin’s 1929 Franklin Coupe, Jake Baker’s 2006 Dodge Charger, Dustin Spencer’s 2006 Victory Jackpot, Wayne Newton’s 2006 Victory Vegas and Nick Cummings’ mini sprint race car all took home awards.
After the awards ceremony, we invited everyone to get in his or her vehicles for a poker run. We had stops at the new public safety building, Stringhams Hardware, Family Dollar, Subway and then back to the park. This gave those in town a chance to see these great looking cars run up and down Main Street a few times. More prizes were then given and the day came to an end.
We really want to say thanks to those who helped behind the scenes this year. James and Stephanie Rohbock, Sam and Nikki Coombs, Steele and Marilyn Coombs, Kelly and Tammy Provstgaard, Sondi Boswell, Paula Pust, and Chris and Tracy Johansen
After all was said and done, we are excited to announce that we will be donating $2,000 to Primary Children’s Medical Center.

This year we will once again hold the annual
♣ Poker Run ♣
for car show participants.
The poker run will involve 5 local stops with a card draw at each. Best hand back at the park wins a prize.
We look forward to the run this year, it’s just a great excuse to let the motor rev and show off your ride.
We want to welcome everyone to come join us for a flag raising ceremony at 8:00 am sharp at the pavillion in the park presented by the Santaquin American Legion Post # 84.
A pancake breakfast will follow and run till 10:00 am. The cost for the breakfast will be $3.00.
